A Day in the Life of Assisted Living Residents

The World Health Organization (WHO) states “health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Wellness is a term we hear a lot these days, but wellness includes more than just physical health. In fact, wellness has four important dimensions, and each one is extremely important for your overall well-being, happiness, and life satisfaction. We believe that optimum health requires balance in all four of these dimensions

At Prestige Assisted Living, we develop a Personalized Wellness Plan for each resident, based on their individual needs, and focusing on the four dimensions of wellness:

Mental / Emotional

Your beliefs, intellectual development, emotional health, and outlook on the world.

Social

Your social relationships with family, friends, and others promote happiness and health.

Physical Care & Support

All aspects of your physical health, and help maintaining your physical well-being.

Spiritual

Being connected to something larger than yourself gives great meaning to people’s lives.
